Syd had surgery on her right ear this morning. The good news is that her hearing loss is from a build up of scar tissue, and not the otosclerosis the Dr. was speculating. This was sort of an exploratory surgery to see what is going on in there, but since it turned out to be scar tissue, he went ahead and cut that out. She will have a good week or so recovery & her hearing should be regular in a month or so, when they will test it again and proceed to remove the scar tissue in her left ear. She is a trooper and is doing well. Thanks to all who have included her in your prayers.
