Hearing aids with **Bling**

Today was the big day when Sydney got molded for her hearing aids. The audiologist at UVRMC was really awesome. He did her tests again and when he was done he let us hear on the computer an example of how she hears out of the better of the two ears. It was SO muffled and quiet...I don't know how she can carry out regular activities! It's crazy. The bottom picture is what she has picked out for the part that will go in her ear...pink with silver sparkles. And as a side note, our friend, Shannon, ordered her some magnetic earrings since Syd doesn't have pierced ears...to show off with her new hearing aids. But then we got to thinking that magnets probably couldn't be near the hearing aids. So, we asked the audiologist & he had the biggest smile on his face...he said that was the first time anyone had even asked! He called the manufacturer and the answer is no...good to know for future reference. Thanks, Shannon, for being so nice and getting her the earrings! I will post pictures in two weeks when they arrive in all their sparkly glory!
