The whole 4th grade has been learning the violin. To say that Drew dislikes it would be an understatement. It's more of an abhorrence. You can tell just by the look on his face. But he played it, and did great.
This year for his class dance, they did a line dance to The Boot Scootin' Boogie. The first day they started learning it, he came out to the car clearly upset about something. I found out it was because the dance was hard and he couldn't do all the steps without falling. I told him to talk to his teacher about it and see if they could do some simple modifications for him. During the day, you couldn't even see his modifications. He did great & didn't fall once...not to mention he kept up just fine with everyone else. Phew!
