Ethan started kindergarten on August 29th. We had a crazy week before school started trying to figure out where he was going to go. Our elementary school put him in a class where we worried about his success. It's frustrating that this state doesn't have better options for kids with special needs...specifically autism, when it is so prevalent here! He now goes to a "special" kindergarten through the school district. There are 8 other kids in his class and 2 aides. It is in the same school where he went to preschool, so the bus picks him up at our doorstep and drops him off. He was nervous on his first day, but has slowly adapted and is doing really well there!
